A real treat! The bread was super soft, the filling generous, the fries crispy... a 20/20!

A fantastic experience at Babek in Caen! We ordered several dips to share (hummus, fried chicken, falafel, etc.) and everything was truly excellent. The portions are very generous, so be careful not to order more than you can eat! The food is flavorful, well-seasoned, and makes you want to try everything. A special mention goes to their homemade sauces, which really elevate the dishes! The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is warm. A great place to share a good time with friends over quality sharing platters!

Having eaten at this restaurant several times since it opened, I find it's still very good, but I've noticed a difference compared to when it first opened. There are fewer vegetables in the bolbeks. I still find that a little disappointing.

Update, 2 years later: It's a disappointment. After a fantastic start, the sandwiches and set menus are now very expensive (starting at €16 for the Döner menu...), much less fresh and flavorful, and very stingy with the meat. That won't stop some die-hard hipsters from flocking there, but I hope the restaurant will regain its original quality and generosity. ------------------------------ Great setting and good sandwiches

Excellent service, the staff were fantastic! 👌🏻 We had 12 people at our table and our food was served quite quickly. Both the bawl and the babek were delicious. The price is very reasonable and the portions are generous. The whole team thanks you. 🫶

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, there's plenty of seating at lunchtime on weekdays, and the service is very fast. The vegetarian and vegan options are delicious. They accept meal vouchers. This place will quickly become my go-to lunch spot. I highly recommend it.
