The concept has changed, and despite appearances, so have the recipes… Back when Nico's pizza was still around, the Curry Madness was incredible: slightly sweet, incredibly flavorful, and with high-quality chicken. We wanted to give this concept a chance, but it will be the last… We tried the Indian pizza (which, on paper, had the same ingredients as the Curry Madness) and what a disappointment… The chicken was gray and sticky, the curry sauce was so spicy that the pizza itself was incredibly hot, and there were maybe three tiny pieces of green bell pepper. Nico's Margherita had a real tomato sauce with visible pieces of mozzarella and fresh basil leaves—it was amazing. Now I'm left with a Margherita pizza that looks like it was bought in a supermarket, with an acidic tomato sauce and probably grated mozzarella, which makes the whole thing rubbery and tasteless. A real downfall… These used to be the best pizzas in Caen.
