RESTAURANT LE MALAGA

An enthusiastic owner and a nice place (if you sweep up the cobwebs on the terrace ;-) ) but getting two out of three orders wrong and then replying, "If I made a mistake for you, others didn't get what they wanted, but I haven't had any complaints," in a joking tone, without any apology or gesture of goodwill, is unprofessional, especially since our 13-year-old son didn't enjoy his meal as a result. What a shame! We wanted dessert but decided against it because we were extremely disappointed :-/ Okay, on Sundays you have to use up leftovers from the fridge, but putting unwanted things on our plates is unacceptable...

Excellent, great value for money, delicious food, we wanted more! A very warm and friendly welcome. I highly recommend it – first experience, we'll be back!

Food was excellent, the pork was so tender. The empanadas were very good. Only open 7-9 pm for dinner so it gets busy and the owner is the only server, so there is a bit of a wait to get food, but definitely worth the wait.

Simply amazing! Welcomed by warm and passionate owners, all the dishes are homemade (and even the beer 😍) and the taste makes your taste buds dance 💃🏻 A real find, but I wish I lived nearby so I could go back regularly 🌸 PS: the pluma was just perfectly caliente ❤️‍🔥

Delightful dishes. We shared various starters (petites bouchees). Afterwards, Empanadas with delicious herb toppings. All accompanied by excellent wine. The meal was beautifully finished off with a Pa d'ou (Catalan pudding). Extremely friendly service with explanations about the dishes. Highly recommended if you are in the Hermanville sur Mer area.

Had the best meal in here tonight. The empanades were delicious. The pork was so good but the best bit was the chorizo sauce. The owners were so accommodating as I speak very little french but we made it work. And star of the show little Luisa. Bonita. I will come back to this restaurant as it all stood out, the food, the people. Merci beaucoup. Gracias.
