Plain flan is divine

I stopped by chance. We had been on holiday in Bayeux for 10 days and couldn't find an affordable pastry shop nearby. Visiting Caen that day, we stopped at this unassuming little shop. The pastries are very pretty and elaborate. I used to buy travel cakes in Bayeux, but the shop had been bought out and no longer offered them. So what a pleasure it was to find travel cakes here that were as beautiful as they were delicious! A very original shape, a moist cake with a creamy filling and a light, pleasant texture. I bought all three available that day. On our way back from holiday, we were passing nearby and I stopped to buy more pastries for our return trip that evening, as well as the cake and some cookies. I gave a cake to my parents. The cookies too. Everyone enjoyed them. Just one small complaint about the strawberry-pistachio éclair, which was a little dry, but the rest was perfect. Best of luck, I will definitely come back to your place when I'm in Caen.

I 100% recommend this bakery. Everything they offer is delicious: the pastries are amazing. I tried their caramel sundae, it was incredible (just like McDonald's). I must also mention the impeccable friendliness of the staff!

Very good pistachio flan and bread, very warm welcome.

Delicious pizza, freshly prepared. You can watch the guys making it. Pleasant conversation while you wait. A refrigerator stocked with various cold drinks is also available. A large pizza and two beers for under 20 euros – you really can't complain. Highly recommended.
